Jordan Asbury serves as the Lead Pastor of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church. With over a decade of ministry experience, he has faithfully served in various roles across West Virginia, Connecticut, and Virginia. Jordan surrendered his life to Christ at a young age and answered the call to ministry at 16. He holds a Bachelor of Theology and is actively pursuing further education in Biblical Counseling and Divinity to better equip himself for the work of gospel ministry.
Jordan’s ministry philosophy is firmly rooted in the authority of God’s Word, faithful preaching, and the clear proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only hope for salvation. He is committed to making disciples by teaching sound doctrine, encouraging personal spiritual growth, and equipping believers to share their faith through evangelism and missions. His heart is to foster a Christ-exalting church with a close family feel—where genuine relationships, meaningful membership, loving accountability, and servant leadership help believers grow deeper in faith, prayer, community, and disciple-making, all for the glory of God.
Above all, Jordan treasures his role as a husband and father. He is married to Courtney, a loving mother and thriving entrepreneur, and together they have four wonderful children: Michael, Charlotte, Kennedy, and Evelyn. Their family shares a deep bond and does life and ministry together alongside their Bruner’s Chapel church family.
When he’s not in the pulpit or shepherding the church, Jordan enjoys the beauty of the Kentucky countryside, relaxing by a campfire, diving into a good book, spending time with friends from church and wrestling on the floor with his kids.
