Our 2024 Vacation Bible School was a great success and 2025 is expected to be even better.
VBS 2025 will run from Monday June 9th - through Friday June 13th at 6:00-8:00pm each evening.
Be sure to check out our plans below for the Ark trip on Saturday June 14, 2025 and how your child may be eligible to go for free.
This year we are taking our VBS students to the Ark Encounter in Northern KY on the Saturday June 13th. Children who attend at least 3 evenings of VBS and have completed the 3rd grade by June 1, 2025 will be eligible for free transportation, entry, and lunch at the Ark Encounter. For children who attend at least 3 evenings of VBS but are under 3rd grade, they can still get free group entry and lunch but they need a parent/guardian to provide their transportation to the Ark and accompany them while we are there as a group. Entry and lunch for their parent/guardian will also be covered by the church.
We are a Southern Baptist Church (SBC), affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC). Our mission here is: “To impact our community by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and equipping Christ-followers to love God and serve others.”
At Bruner’s Chapel, our vision is to raise up and equip great evangelists and leaders in order reach all of Mercer Co. with the gospel message.
The popular Bluegrass band Chosen Road will be in concert at Bruner’s Chapel on the evening of July 19th.
Details to come.
Whether you are “coming back” to church or this is your first experience, the first visit to a church is a big step! At Bruner’s Chapel, we want to be helpful in every way we can in order to make that step meaningful. Please take a minute to fill out a visit plan and we will be looking for you when you come. You can also scroll down to check out some FAQ’s about our church.
Infants to Seniors, there is something for everyone.
Our newly renovated children’s area was designed to provide a safe and comfortable area where children can learn about God’s word through various activities.
At Bruner’s Chapel we provide a safe space for students in grades 6-12 to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, study the Word of God, be discipled, and learn how to take an active role in serving our church family and community. We want to partner with our students' families to raise up a generation of young people who honor the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 98:4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Music is an important part of worship. When we sing, we ascribe to the LORD the glory due His Name. (Psalm 29:2)
In scripture, believers sang both hymns and new songs. At Bruner’s Chapel, we also worship through different genres of music. Music is prayerfully selected with the focus on scripturally-sound lyrics.
Our Praise Team consists of both vocalists and musicians. The team practices on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
We also have a Choir, which sings on special occasions, along with the children of our church.
We invite you to worship with us!
Psalm 146:2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
Puppets? It’s not what you expect.
This free class meets in the Barry Vandivier Center located a few hundred yards behind the church on Bruner’s Chapel Road and is open to the public. Class ends with a short devotional and instructor lead prayer.
