Schylar Fields

Schylar Fields has been the pastor of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church since June of 2020. Serving the Bruner’s Chapel is one of the great joys of his life. This is aided by serving with the talented and gifted staff and lay leaders at this awesome church. Prior to serving at Bruner’s Chapel, Pastor Schylar served as the associate pastor of Sharon Baptist Church in his hometown of Ironton, Ohio.

Schylar earned a bachelor of science (B.S.) in Natural Sciences from Shawnee State University in 2016, a master of divinity (M.Div.) in general studies and a master of theology (Th.M.) in homiletics from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2019 and 2020, and is currently finishing his doctorate (Ph.D.) in homiletics (preaching) and evangelism from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

He is married to Kara and together they have one daughter (Lyndee) and a golden-doodle (Annie).
